She was the Dark Goddess, the Mother Death, the horrible Nightmare.

She was the Grate Matron of the world of the dead.

Long before the parents of Hades and the rest of the underworld gods were conceived, SHE was there – ruling the dark kingdom of the underworld.

She is the one who makes sure every curse will reach its target… in a terrible preciseness.

Words of compassion were heard from her so seldom that in one lifetime you couldn't hear them twice.

The Greeks called her The Destroyer of Lights – Persephone.

The patriarch Greeks, like many other cultures that came after them, wants to tell us that the helpless Persephone was abducted and maybe even been raped by Hades. They will tell a story in which she was dragged and caged hopelessly in the kingdom of the dead.

They would have us think that her mother – Demeter – Mother Earth herself (!!!) was looking for her daughter helplessly and blindly and only by the favors of the sky gods – Zeus and a handsome sun god, she was able to retrieve her.

They want us to think that the feminine powers are helpless, victims, weak, have no real stand in the world and no ability to determine their destiny and fate.

BUT WE REMEMBER!

We remember differently and know the truth.
